Confirm your product range & final output Clarify what bakery goods you plan to produce: pastry, pita, cookies, moon cakes, laminated dough, etc. Different products need different forming units: extruder, encrusting machine, satellite roller sheeting system, guillotine cutter.
Calculate required hourly capacity Match line speed with your target output (kg/h or pcs/h). Avoid overbuying oversized equipment which wastes workshop space and investment.
Check dough characteristics Dough moisture, gluten strength, fat content will affect sheeting, extrusion and moulding performance. High-hydration dough needs special anti-sticking rollers and structure design.
Workshop layout & utility conditions Measure workshop area, ceiling height, floor load. Confirm power supply, compressed air, water and drainage. Leave space for operation, cleaning and maintenance.
Food safety & sanitation standard Select stainless steel contact parts, easy-to-dismantle structure. Meet CE / SGS / local food hygiene requirements. Quick cleaning reduces downtime between product changeovers.
Automation level & operation team Choose full-auto or semi-auto line according to your operators. PLC control, touch screen, recipe storage can reduce manual errors.
After-sales service & spare parts support Verify overseas technical support, spare parts lead time, warranty period. For international projects, check remote troubleshooting and on-site service availability.
Budget & expandability Balance capital cost and long-term running cost. Consider future product expansion; modular design allows adding modules later, e.g. oven, cooling conveyor, packaging unit.
